Summary of long-term experience of Prof. Raichev and the author's team in diagnostics, therapy and rehabilitation.
Neuropsychology is a subdiscipline of neurology and psychology, which studies mental functionality from the perspective of neuroscience. Among the harbingers of neuropsychology are Franz Joseph Gall and Johann Spurzheim, and above all Paul Broca, who became famous for his works on the localization of the cerebral centers of speech (in the posterior third of the left inferior frontal gyrus) and aphasia. Modern neuropsychology is based on the anatomy of the central nervous system, neurophysiology and neurochemistry.
