The monograph is aimed at specialist endocrinologists and nephrologists, having the most frequent contact with diabetic complications, but also at general practitioners and, of course, at young specialist doctors with an interest in this direction.
The hope is that by knowing the most intimate mechanisms of kidney damage in diabetes, it will be possible to decide on the most correct strategy for diagnosis and treatment, will cover patients with diabetic nephropathy in the earliest phases of the disease, and could delay her progression to the terminal phases of renal failure.
