MEDICINES FOR THE CHILD
Professor Nadka Boyadzhieva, PhD, is the head of the University Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Faculty of Medicine - MU, Sofia.
He graduated in medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Sofia and in 1978 acquired a specialty in pharmacology. In 1988, he became a doctor of medical sciences, and since 1996 he has been a professor. Since 1993, he has been a visiting professor at two American universities - Washington State University and Rutgers.
In 2000, Prof. Boyadzhieva was elected head of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Faculty of Medicine - Sofia. He is still in this post.
As a doctor, academic teacher and scientist in our country, Europe and the USA, Prof. Boyadzhieva applies her experience in the fields of education, science, medicine, drug policy, pharmacology and toxicology.
She specialized in Russia, USA, England.
Prof. Boyadzhieva has published over 460 scientific papers. He is the author of the first book in our country "Medicines for children (Clinical application of drugs on infants, children and adolescents)", as well as editor and co-editor of three textbooks on pharmacology, for doctors (2003 and 2008) and for dentists (2004).
He is a member of scientific societies in our country, Europe and the USA, including significant international scientific organizations in the field of medicine and medicinal toxicology.
