A convenient and quick guide to the clinical practice of the most common congenital anomalies, with 1400 articles on specific diseases, syndromes, malformations and defects with brief but important and distinctive data about them. The book contains 2850 terms on the subject, arranged in alphabetical order of the Latin term, with an appendix "Bulgarian-Latin Dictionary of Terms and Congenital Anomalies". The focus is especially on pediatrics and neonatology, because 3% of newborns have a significant physical abnormality, and almost all congenital diseases and syndromes manifest in childhood. The huge variety of congenital anomalies, which can affect absolutely all organs and systems, determines the interest of other clinical specialists as well, for their convenience are the appendices "Categories of congenital diseases and syndromes according to affected systems" and "Frequency of the most common congenital anomalies" , with epidemiologic data on approximately 200 of the most common birth defects, malformations, diseases, and syndromes worldwide.
