Twenty years after the first edition of this textbook, the content had to be updated, keeping its purpose for the medical specialties "Nurses", "Midwives", "Physiotherapists", "Medical Assistants", "Health Management" and others.
The study material is structured in fifteen thematic units. Each contains a grammar focus with emphasis on the most used cases in medical terminology: Nominative and Genitive. Grammatical material is illustrated with terms divided into A (anatomical terminology), B (clinical terminology) and C (pharmaceutical terminology). In the separate thematic units, the Greek doublet forms of the Latin names are included in detail. This allows the differences between anatomical and clinical terminology to be traced. The textbook also contains a thematic unit "recipe", which summarizes the modern principles of writing a prescription.
