The textbook is intended to facilitate the understanding of complex structural relationships and the relationships between structure and function. It describes some age-related changes in a number of structures and organs, as well as the relationship of anatomy to clinical disciplines.
A number of famous scientists who contributed to the development of human anatomy are noted. In writing the textbook, I have put my experience in teaching human anatomy for 54 years, as well as writing a number of textbooks on this medical specialty.
