Autoimmune diseases account for a significant proportion of morbidity in developed countries and their incidence is constantly increasing.

The book presents the most common autoimmune diseases, as well as some contemporary aspects of autoimmunity and transplantation, the role of autoimmunity in emerging reproductive problems, the application of new biological agents and stem cells as therapeutic approaches in autoimmune diseases.
