"Endocrinology of breast cancer" is a joint work of a team of Bulgarian scientists, in which the violation of neuro-endocrine regulations at all levels of the neuro-endocrine system, the occurrence and clinical course of breast carcinoma is followed.
The appearance of this book was dictated by the need to consider hormonal disorders homeostasis in the female organism during the hormone-dependent determined periods of a woman's life (growth and puberty, pregnancy and lactation, climax and involution). Thus, the connection between these disorders in the activity of the neuro-endocrine system and breast cancer stands out. Studies and monitoring of hormonal status, hormonal and metabolic deviations of certain hormones are of great importance in the diagnosis and treatment of this most common hormone-dependent tumor.
The book is suitable for students from medical universities in the country, for endocrinologists and for all those interested in the issues under consideration.
