The textbook is intended for medical and dental students. They study the subject "Latin language with medical terminology" for a period of 60 study hours. The learning content is as follows. In the first semester, the declensions of names are traditionally learned with the conditioned relationship between grammatical and lexical material. With examples of anatomical, clinical and pharmaceutical terminology.
The second part includes the formation of medical terms, and for the first time a new methodological model is presented in a textbook for Bulgarian students. He who follows the division of the body into systems. The part about the pharmaceutical nomenclature is in accordance with the new requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia and the educational content taught to the pharmacy students at MU-Sofia. The application is composed of a table of case endings, modern diagnoses from the various medical specialties and additional material for exercises.
Our goal is for students to perceive modern medical terminology as a basis for their training and an integral part of their future professional activity.
