BIOLOGY AND HEALTH EDUCATION FOR GRADE 8-9, COMPULSORY PREPARATION
The profiled preparation textbook is designed for students with an increased interest in biology. It includes all the study material from the compulsory preparation textbook, together with the optional information for the first level. It is supplemented with extended lessons on topics from the basic textbook, and also with new topics important for the construction of modern ideas about biological processes and phenomena.
The textbook includes 28 lessons, with some lessons being longer and designed for 2 study hours. Each lesson unit includes a richly illustrated main text, and highlighted most important definitions and summaries. Sometimes, in appropriate places, additional explanations, curious facts or other details are placed. The lesson ends with several questions and tasks that would support a better understanding of the main text.
There is a section in the textbook with laboratory exercises and assignments that proceed at the discretion of the teacher.
At the end, test questions and tasks are offered on the entire biology material for the 10th grade.
