Cytology and Embryology
The "Cytology and Embryology" textbook is an integrated course in which the structural and functional features of cells and the individual stages of the embryonic development of animal organisms are briefly presented.
The textbook contains two parts. The first part "Cytology" describes the morphological and functional organization of the cell and individual cellular structures. In the second part, "Embryology", the main stages of the embryonic development of multicellular organisms are considered, i.e. the period from the moment of fertilization until the hatching or birth of the embryo, as well as the formation of the gametes.
The textbook is intended for students of "Ecology and Environmental Protection" and "Molecular Biology" and is aligned with the relevant curricula. At the same time, it can be used by students studying in other biological specialties, by young specialists and researchers working in this direction.

Cytology and embryology' is a key textbook that presents important concepts and principles in the field of cell biology and organismal development. This textbook is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the structure and function of cells and the development of organisms from the embryonic period to maturity.
At the beginning of the textbook, an overview of cell theory and basic concepts in the field of cytology is presented. Here, the structure and functions of cellular components, the cell membrane, organelles, and cytoplasm, as well as the processes of mitosis and meiosis, are considered.
Subsequent sections of the textbook focus on various aspects of cell biology, including cell signaling, metabolism, genetics, and cell cycle regulation. The authors also present methods and techniques used in cell biology to study cellular processes and structures.
The second part of the textbook examines embryology - a science that studies the development of organisms from the embryonic period to birth. A detailed understanding of the various stages of embryonic development, including fertilization, gastrulation, neurolization, and organogenesis, is presented here.
An important aspect of the textbook is devoted to the development of the human organism, including the formation of the various organs and tissues, considering the basic principles and mechanisms of the development of the human embryo.
In addition, the textbook offers information on the origin and development of different types of tissues and organs in the body, considering the processes of cell differentiation and specialization.
Cytology and Embryology is a valuable source of information for students and professionals in biology, medicine, and health care seeking a deep understanding of the cellular processes and mechanisms of organismal development. This textbook provides extensive and up-to-date information essential to understanding the life and development of organisms.
