Photographic Atlas of Anatomy
PHOTOGRAPHIC ATLAS OF ANATOMY
For medical and dental students
Preface
One of the first things a student realizes while studying anatomy is that the figures in the textbook do not reflect the reality of the preserved body for dissection.
Arteries are not colored red, veins are not colored blue, nor are nerves colored yellow.
The Color Photographic Atlas of Anatomy is a wonderful aid in translating the color drawings from textbooks and anatomy atlases through high-quality photographs of preparations made in the dissecting room.
The atlas reflects the Department's many years of teaching experience and expresses the Department's school philosophy of teaching human anatomy on preparations made in the dissection rooms.
Sinelnikov ATLAS OF ANATOMY…
The result of the authors' long-term work, this atlas includes 12 sections in which the structure of the human body is presented on a topographical basis. The documented preparations show the individual organs and systems in detail and in the order in which they are taught in the department. The aim is to make the relationship between individual structures and their topographical location even clearer. The names used correspond to the Paris Anatomical Nomenclature (PNA), 1955 and its subsequent updates. All the preparations shown were prepared by students and teachers from the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology of the Medical University - Plovdiv.
