Physiotherapy in pediatrics

Physiotherapy in pediatrics is intended for the most valuable potential and capital for a country, the children.
Childcare is multifaceted. They are related to growth, psychomotor development, physical and spiritual education, prevention, treatment, social care, etc. All of them are formed with the age of the child. Physical education and physiotherapy play a large role in their development. The variety of means of physiotherapy and their combination with other specialties make it possible to participate in every period of growth and psychomotor development of the child (for prevention and treatment). The participation of Physiotherapy in the prophylactic-therapeutic process is tailored to the age-related anatomical-physiological characteristics, the individual characteristics of the child, the phases (periods) of the development of disease processes, the environment (external irritants), etc.
It should not be forgotten that physiotherapy in pediatrics is a medical-pedagogical process.
The textbook is adapted to the training programs for physiotherapists in Bulgaria. Available literary sources from foreign and Bulgarian authors, doctors, specialists and physiotherapists were used for its writing.
