MANUAL OF ANATOMY
OF THE MAN
for students with an educational
qualification degree
"Bachelor" in the specialty "Midwifery"
This guide is intended for students with
degree "Bachelor". It presents the most basic morphological knowledge of the human body, with a special
emphasis on the most essential and significant knowledge covering
the needs of the "Midwife" specialty. This allows for
targeted and specialized training and delineation of the most important
aspects necessary to master the anatomical knowledge of this
specialty.
Due to the extremely large volume of information in the anatomy and
due to the fact that this "Midwife" specialty is studied within
only one semester, we tried to present the gaps in the
the curriculum in a convenient form according to their needs for their construction
as specialists. The writing of the guide was dictated by
striving to meet the ripe need for an anatomy aid
in a concise form.
From the authors
The preparation of this manual was dictated by
the need to reflect and supplement the knowledge of
students about fetal embryonic development and sex
system and some clinical aspects related to them. The author team
united around the idea of modern representation of the best
material from world scientific data in an abbreviated and accessible form c
within the framework of semester studies at the Department of Anatomy and
cell biology to the University of Varna.
Creation of the first specialized anatomy aid
for the midwifery students at Varna Medical University "Prof. dr
Paraskev Stoyanov" is the result of the long-term experience of the authors in
the training of medical students in Sofia
"St. Kliment Ohridski" University, Medical University
Sofia, Southwest University "Neofit Rilski" Blagoevgrad
and Varna Medical University. The way of

presentation and approaches in writing such manuals and
helped by a number of our and foreign authors. They are consistent
basic concepts in the anatomy of the human body are presented with an emphasis
on the pelvis and reproductive system, as well as the reproductive stages
period concerning the specifics of the birth process.
The authors have tried to cover the entire program from
the training course for the "Midwife" specialty. The management
will be useful material for all medical students as well
majors, helping to refine their understanding
in detail about the reproductive system. Based on the material included in
the present work, students will be facilitated in the acquisition of
the material taught in both preclinical and clinical
disciplines, will develop and refine associative thinking,
related to the anatomical structure of the human body.
