The KETO diet often has different effects on men and women. The fact is that its action is most often studied on men and does not take into account the peculiarities of the female organism.
The Gottfried Protocol is specifically designed for women and works to balance hormones. It is based on three principles:
- detoxification – without hunger, but with the right selection of detoxifying foods
- nutritional ketosis - developed specifically for women, taking into account physiological characteristics and bio-individuality
- fasting (intermittent fasting) – not fasting for its own sake, but balanced and complementary to detoxification and nutritional ketosis
