Dr. Hristo B. Kolchev is a neurologist, epileptologist, otoneurologist, specialist in sleep medicine, electrophysiologist and a specialist in hyperbaric medicine with oxygen-barotherapy.
In his 50-year professional career, Dr. Kolchev has worked as a treating physician, researcher and teacher in a number of clinical, scientific-experimental and teaching areas such as general neurology, epileptology, sleep and breathing disorders, vertigo and balance disorders, experimental and clinical electro-neurophysiology (EEG, evoked potentials, Event-related Potentials, Long-Term Video-EEG Monitoring, invasive EEG, polysomnography, experimental vestibulology, etc.).
He is the author of over 180 publications in national and international scientific publications, as well as two dissertations and five monographs.
Dr. Kolchev is a cosmopolitan, a citizen of Bulgaria and the USA. Apart from Bulgaria, he has worked for more than 20 years in seven countries located on three continents. This guide is the result of his long-term observations, impressions and work in different schools and with different methodologies.
