Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elena Mermeklieva, MD. is a specialist in ophthalmology. She graduated from the Medical University - Sofia in 1997, in 2002 she already had a recognized specialty in ophthalmology. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mermeklieva has various specializations outside Bulgaria in this field, including in Great Britain, Germany, Spain, USA, Slovenia, Austria, India. Author and co-author of 75 scientific articles and reports in the country and abroad.
