Pathology. General pathology. Volume I

In modern practice, general pathology is divided into a number of subdisciplines within the discrete but deeply interconnected goals of biological research and medical practice. Structurally, the study of disease is divided into many different fields that investigate or diagnose markers of disease using methods and technologies specific to particular scales, organs, and tissue types. The information in this section is primarily concerned with pathology as it relates to general medical practice in these systems, but each of these specialties is subject to extensive pathological study with respect to specific pathogens and disorders that affect the tissues of these individual organs and structures.
