Atlas of diseases of the oral mucosa
Preface
Photographic Atlas of Anatomy
Diseases of the oral mucosa are caused by a large number of etiological factors - exogenous. It is t.h. (injuries, chemical effects, local infections, etc.) and endogenous (various internal and systemic diseases, general infections, etc.).
This also explains the large number of nosological units and the diversity of the clinical picture. Very often, changes in the mucous membrane of the mouth are also the first manifestations of many dermatological and general diseases. This is of great importance for early diagnosis and timely therapy.
Human Anatomy –…
On the other hand, the mucous membrane of the mouth reacts to the various external and internal etiological causes, compared to the skin, with a smaller number of rash elements, which, moreover, in many cases appear more discreetly and proceed lo-atypically. These features often make it difficult for the practitioner of lental medicine, and even more so for doctors from other specialties.
To aid the diagnostic process of dental specialists, dermatologists and other specialists, and especially dental and medical students, we have compiled the present atlas dealing with diseases of the oral mucosa.
Sinelnikov ATLAS OF ANATOMY…
For practical reasons and for easier and faster reference, we adopt the oral localization of pathological processes, which we divided into:
- It affects the perioral area, the lips, tongue, gums, palate and mucous membrane of the tongue.
- Diseases were grouped into infectious and non-infectious, such as lice were divided into four subgroups:
- genetic and congenital conditions (ano-shi), organ-specific diseases, skin diseases and general (systemic) diseases, and tumor formations.
- Atlas of diseases of the oral mucosa
In each Zen section, we have included a relatively comprehensive text on the etiology, genesis, cliché picture and modern therapy of the most common adhesions of the oral mucosa, and for greater comprehensiveness, and to improve the quality of the illustrations, we have also added appropriate figures that we borrowed from atlases of some - tested authors such as: Borovsky and Danislevsky, Strassburg & Knolle et al., ~: z et al., Miiller et al., Steigleder and others. to whom we express our gratitude!
