The aid is the eleventh revised edition, which aims to help prospective students acquire the necessary skills and confidence to successfully perform the chemistry exam in all medical universities in the country. The first and second parts of the book with solved problems can be used for self-study by both prospective students and secondary school students, as they stimulate logical thinking and contribute to the systematization and more complete absorption of the organic chemistry material .
When presenting the solutions to the tasks, the authors have complied with the main requirements of the examination committee in chemistry, which boil down to:
1) Knowledge of the structure of the main types of organic compounds
2) Knowing their properties
3) The methods for obtaining the individual types of organic compounds
4) Commenting on the conditions for chemical reactions
5) Establishing the genetic relationship between organic compounds
6) Skills to compare facts and draw conclusions from them
The solutions to some of the tasks are given more schematically, without comment. In many of the tasks, the names of the organic compounds, the hybridization change, the oxidation state of the carbon atom, etc. are given. Attention is paid to tasks with increased difficulty, and one of the options for solving them is indicated. The proposed solutions stimulate the independent finding of other options for solving tasks.
