Diagnostic analysis of the activity of medical facilities. Part I
The transformation of the modern medical facility into an independent "business unit" requires the application of new methods to achieve effective management. Such are the methods of diagnostic analysis, which can lead to benefits both for the medical facility and for its interested groups (stakeholders), the author writes in the introduction of the book.
The publication is intended for students in the master's program in "Health Management", Faculty of "Public Health" at the University of Medicine - Varna, studying the discipline "Modern models for diagnostics of the activity of medical institutions", but it expands its audience, as it can be useful and for specialists from teams of medical institutions, administrators, politicians, experts and consultants in the field of health management. Part 1 of the textbook is composed of three chapters: (1) basics of the diagnostic analysis; (2) models, methods and tools for measuring and analyzing the activity (among them, in detail about the American, Canadian, Danish, French model, the PATH model, what was done in Bulgaria); (3) features of the application of diagnostic analysis in the management of medical institutions.
