The authors' collective, which unites leading doctors and pharmacists from all Medical Universities in our country, united around the idea of making a propaedeutic textbook with the most up-to-date information on pharmacology and toxicology. In this textbook, there are no long and sometimes difficult to remember explanations of individual questions.
We tried to present all the facts clearly and comprehensibly. The content of the textbook corresponds to the curricula of the Medical Universities in our country. The editors invited all Habilitation teachers for this textbook, thanks to those of you who responded. The experience of our leading academic teachers is woven into this textbook, new topical sections are introduced, which the current dynamics in medical science and education require.
Pharmacognosy I part
Pharmacology is a dynamic science and discipline, many new facts are published every year, effective drugs enter the treatment of patients. This defines our obligation to update textbooks so that students, doctors and professionals receive the most up-to-date knowledge. We wrote this textbook with love and responsibility. The idea of giving students from different universities more academic knowledge in the field of Toxicology was adopted by us. We invited the leading toxicologists so that the reader “drinks water from the fountains of toxicology knowledge. Actually, this textbook is also the first new modern unified textbook of the knowledge of pharmacology with toxicology.
INTRODUCTION TO PHARMACOKINETICS
The idea of pharmacology with toxicology being part of a state exam is not new. Recently, all the heads of the academic departments in the universities in our country, teaching pharmacology and toxicology, supported this idea, and we believe that this will soon become a fact. This textbook will be useful both in the course of the entire training course of doctors, pharmacists and dentists, and for the preparation of state exams. Our teachers, those to whom the united pharmacologists of Bulgaria present this textbook as a sign of appreciation and bow, taught us that there is no progress without knowledge and work.

A lot of work has been put in by each of the authors so that you now have state-of-the-art knowledge in a new textbook. But now it's your turn to learn and create. You, our beloved students, follow the covenant of our teachers - to read and study pharmacology and toxicology, remembering that these two disciplines are the backbone of pharmacotherapy in medicine and pharmacy.
