The availability of limited resources and continuous growth of public needs necessitate the introduction of project management in health care as a new form for the implementation of a number of initiatives and their resource provision. With the accession of Bulgaria to the EU, project management has become a common tool through which both sides of the equation "European Union - European member" support the transition to a market economy and effective management.
This textbook presents the essence and features of healthcare projects, the methodology of their development, implementation, control and evaluation. The information is presented in an overview with many rubrics reminiscent of boxes, tables and figures.
