Enhancing mathematics learning through solving geometric calculus problems in elementary school
Summary: The present monograph is the result of the author's many years of theoretical, empirical and practical research. It gives methodical ideas to solve the computational problems with geometrical content in elementary school.
Available:
- problem systems for solving a triangle
- problem systems with two uniform geometric figures (two triangles)
- problem systems with two different geometric figures (triangle and rectangle; triangle and square).
For each task system, as well as for each task of a given system are prebecomehere:
- methodological notes on discovering, understanding and recording the solution
- the necessary concepts, knowledge, and component tasks to reach an understanding of both the task and its solution.
The developed topic is illustrated with many diagrams, tables and drawings, aiming at a thorough, clear and comprehensive exposition of the contents of the monograph.
The book would enrich the knowledge of students studying Methodology of teaching mathematics in primary school and those studying at the OCS "bachelor" and "master" and ONS "doctor". It would also be useful in the preparation of coursework, theses, essays, etc.
The content, scientific and practical value of the monograph would improve the learning process in mathematics in the 1st - 4th grades and would increase the mathematical, methodological and didactic competence of primary teachers teaching mathematics.
