General pathology
The general textbook pathology is prepared for biology students from the "Medical Biology" specialty, as well as for students from other specialties of the Faculty of Biology of Plovdiv University "Paisiy Hilendarski". The textbook is a short course in general pathology, which includes topics aligned with the discipline's curriculum.
Without claiming to be exhaustive, we hope that the content proposed in the course will provide sufficient information on the classical and well-established knowledge about pathomorphological changes, as well as on some of the new scientific achievements in the field of general pathology.
We hope that through the thematic units represented, the textbook will be useful for students in mastering and acquiring sufficiently in-depth knowledge of pathological processes and some basic diseases, as well as to understand the regularities of their development.
